You
will need:
Fur
fabric
Blind
fabric or felt scraps
Joggle
eyes or felt scraps
Stuffing
Elastic
Bead
or small button
PVA
glue or sticky pads
Needle
& thread
To
make:
Cut a body 5x2½ in (130x65mm) from fur fabric.
Cut 2 ears and 2 feet from blind fabric or felt
Fold the fur in half with the right side inside, then
stitch the two short sides together.
Run a gathering thread around one of the other edges.
Pull tight and fasten off. Turn to right side.
Cut a length of elastic tie a bead or button to one
end. Thread the elastic onto a bodkin and push
through the top of the Gonk where it has been gathered from the inside.
The bead or button will hold it firmly in place. Stitch the ears in place
either side of top of head.
Stuff the body firmly..
Run a gathering thread around open edge and pull up to
enclose the or stuffing. Fasten off securely.
Glue feet to one gathered edge.
Glue joggle eyes in place or make some from felt
scraps
